Gold Medal Laughs exists to build and strengthen the comedy and creative arts community in South Florida by creating educational, developmental, and performance opportunities for emerging and underrepresented talent to learn, grow, be seen, heard, and celebrated.

Through producing high-quality live shows, providing free arts and creative media education, mentorship and hands-on training, cultivating local audiences, and creating platforms for comedians, students, and emerging artists who have yet to break through to the mainstream, Gold Medal Laughs is committed to discovering fresh voices, developing creative skills, and helping individuals grow both artistically and professionally.

We believe great comedy and creativity can come from anywhere—and that South Florida has a wealth of talent waiting for its moment. Our mission is to create the education, resources, stages, communities, and opportunities that help give those voices that moment, while reducing barriers to arts education and fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and thriving creative culture for students, performers, artists, venues, audiences, and the South Florida community as a whole.
